About two weeks ago I did a variant cover design for the Bravest Warriors comic #7. The folks at Comic Alliance put up a preview here http://www.comicsalliance.com/2013/01/09/bravest-warriors-7-cover-art-preview/. I had no idea how much darker my concept was than the others until they were all placed alongside each other, but I guess that’s to be expected from me. Also, I’ve attached the original concept I did as well as the printed one. Originally, Danny was giving the finger to his broken suit and the leaking air, but ultimately had to cut it since the comics are intended for all ages… unlike the show.
Since Prometheus will be landing tomorrow, I thought I might re-post my Prometheus piece I did a while back when the trailer was first announced. And yes, I’m excited.

( http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/215-ink/id449585609?mt=8 ) The printed edition of the first issue will be available soon and I will be selling and signing copies at the upcoming Heroes Con in North Carolina! So, please show your support by downloading the first issue and letting us know what you think! And if you really love it, please let us know and we will be sure to get you a copy as soon as we can, or get one from me in person at NC, signed! I hope you enjoy it! Also, if you’d like to keep posted on my recent pages for issue two, I will be tweeting updates as it comes along @LoganFaerber on Twitter.
Secondly, I apologize for my lack of recent posting, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working hard. Over the past month or so I’ve been developing three comics, an e-book, a painting, and working on my start-up design company, “Dobot” (pronounced do-bot). There will be much more to come very soon regarding all of these projects.
You can see more of our publisher’s fantastic line-up at www.215ink.com
Thanks again for all your love and support! Keep creating!

The final inking for a piece I am doing. The theme is “space” so I’ve decided to illustrate a brontosaurus in an astronaut’s uniform. This idea stems from a children’s book idea I’ve been developing for some time now and I thought this would be a good opportunity to start working on some character designs. Stay tuned; the final illustration will be full-color and posted here on Monday.

Currently working on a piece inspired by the upcoming movie “Prometheus” by the great Ridley Scott. I will be selling the original inking; please contact me at loganfaerber@gmail.com for details. I will also be selling finished colored prints once it’s completed. The prints will be available online either directly from me or from my society 6 shop. They will also be available at the upcoming BostonComicCon and HeroesCon, both of which I will be attending. Hope you enjoy!

A 9x12 acrylic painting of George Takei from Star Trek that I created for the website GeeksOUT’s “Takei Back the Night” fundraising event. I really love getting the chance to work with traditional mediums when I can, now that so much of it is done digitally. -L
