Here is the first page of a 12pg comic that I’m working on for another anthology. This one deals with the theme of “Metal”, and the story that I and Austin Wilson, aka “Hideous Energy”, are working on is titled “Six Barrel Shotgun”. The story opens with a large one page spread of the heroine named “Crater”. Tune in to find out more in the coming weeks! It’s going to be brutal. -L
Sample from the next 6 pieces in my stock illustration series. I’ll be posting the set once I’m done with them all, just like the first batch. Stay tuned!
Another image from the book, “Mr. Ami’s Postal Service”; a children’s book I’m creating. This scene is early on in the story and depicts the very first package being sent at the early morning sunrise. It also gives the reader a broader view of the environment in which Mr. Ami works and lives. There are going to be a huge variety of environments and scenes to come so that the book keeps readers engrossed with the various colors and birds. Keep tuned!

Finally completed the inking for this massive (22x28in) commissioned piece that depicts the three heads of the JLA sparring with the ruthless Darkseid. I wanted to rein-vision these famous characters rather than re-depict what has already been done. With my style, it ended up as a mixture of Bruce Timm and Paul Pope; two illustrators I admire greatly and am more than honored to have embraced as inking mentors. I would actually love to do more of these and maybe even attempt some in color so that I can have a hand at dry brush texture on a superhero subject matter.
Portrait that I am doing of my dad for Christmas. This holiday I wanted to make everyone in my family a very special gift, so I decided to depict each member as a bizarro more sophisticated version of themselves. Ultimately all of them will be placed within oval shaped frames to hang or place where they choose within their own home.
