If I wasn’t already pumped for a new Evil Dead movie to come out, particularly one that doesn’t suck, imagine how extra pumped I was to have been asked to design an Evil Dead tribute poster during the same opening week. Ash/Bruce Campbell is quite an interesting fellow to draw, and I would happily draw him again. Hopefully someone out there wants a sweet Brisco County Jr. poster next :)

You can get prints of this bad boy here: http://www.strangekidsclub.com/2013/05/03/hail-to-the-king-baby-our-evil-dead-2-print-is-now-on-sale/

Hey everyone,

So it’s been quite a while since I posted anything new, which is very unlike me. Rest assured, I’ve still been extremely busy creating new art, but not all of it are projects or pieces I can pull the curtain off yet. However, one of the things that I can officially announce is the title of my upcoming book series, “The Cartoon Guidebook To Absolute Failure”, written by my great friend Erik Craddock. As you can probably guess by the cover of Issue 1, this book is a little over the top. There will be 6 issues in total, but the first one will be releasing later this summer. For more details directly from the author, check out: http://erikcraddock.com/announcing-brand-new-book-series-cartoon-guidebook-absolute-failure/

We’ll have more to reveal very soon, but for now this will have to do.

We’re looking for a software engineer (not of the Tokyo Gore Police variety) that loves telling interactive stories and building awesome products. Most importantly we’re looking for someone who’s crazy enough to believe they can change the world.

We are Dobot! We’re building products for…

During January, I illustrated a variant cover design for my good friend Justin Peterson’s upcoming Very Near Mint vol.3, which is currently being funded via Kickstarter. Please spread the word and check out his great work here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/justinpeterson/very-near-mint-volume-3

My contribution to Brand New Nostalgia this week - the theme was “Apocalyptic Bikers”. Check out the other great artists and work at http://brandnewnostalgia.com/

A sushi piece that I made as a guest artist for the blog http://dailysushi.tumblr.com. There’s some great work there by some very talented folks; go check it out!

I recently contributed to the Marvel Redux project, where modern day illustrators redesigned classic Marvel Universe characters from the handbook they released years ago. You can find all the details along with every amazing artists’ character designs here! http://ohotmuredux.blogspot.com/

A tribute piece I did inspired my the amazing Madman work by the great Mike Allred. -L

The Shadow commission piece I recently did. I really loved the old pulp comic feel, but I wanted to add more intensity to the character this time around. It was also composed to work as a variant cover or as a pin-up. I’m really glad that the comic world has brought this classic character back successfully. -L

This was a commission piece that I received while at Heroes Con last weekend. Instead of doing a traditional pin-up for Abe Sapien, I decided to place him underwater, clutched by a monster’s tentacles who is dragging him further under. I wanted it to feel more like a full page spread of a cover rather than just a bust, which I would love to do as well in the near future. I may also decide to color this illustration in time, but for now I will leave it as an intense black and white piece. -Logan

This was a commission I received from Shelli Paroline whilst at Heroes Con this past weekend. Yes, it’s Julia Child as a spy. It took me a while to really grasp and conceive how this could work, but I think I managed. Check out her Adventure Time comics and other work here http://shelligator.tumblr.com/

An Adventure Time piece I made for an upcoming gallery show in Chicago, IL. http://www.ohnodoom.com/

I’ll be taking commissions for the Heroes Con either before, during or after the event. If before, I can have the piece ready for pickup at the booth, but any of the above are good. If interested please just contact me at loganfaerber@gmail.com or via twitter @LoganFaerber and I will get right back to you! All the details are broken down here…

This piece was my contribution to the art collective Brand New Nostalgia this week, whose theme was “Psychobilly Culture”. I initially began a piece that was much different than this and was more focused around the idea of gambling, but it shifted during the process to this concept. Based on feedback, I would like to have this available as a print at cons, so please let me know if this is something you’d be interested in. Enjoy!

You can also get prints of it here, http://society6.com/aerodynamicmountains/Psychobilly-IzG_Print including t-shirts and iPhone cases.
