I was recently invited to a gallery show in Allston, MA by my friend Tak Toyoshima called “Death of Childhood”, that was centered around the idea of warped and or perverted childhood memories. Mine was inspired by those ice cream pops made to look like your favorite cartoon characters, but in this scenario they work as if voodoo dolls since after I grew up it always seemed sort of deranged to me.
