I was recently commissioned to do a band poster for the jazz ensemble, “Milkbread”. They are based in Newport, RI and consist of eight members, each of which I have depicted here. Since I love classic jazz posters from the 20’s, I decided to go for a modern day adaptation of that traditional aesthetic. To this black and white line drawing I will be adding a layer of mid-tones. This piece will then be sold at their upcoming shows. Hope you like it! -L
