For The Shills’ new album, “Keep Your Hands Busy”, I’m designing two individual jackets because it’s going to be released as two separate discs. Here is another design that we are going to be using for disc two. It may also develop into a variety of band merchandise in time ie: shirts. Initially this concept developed as an early rough for the CD’s cover. At that time, it was all a similar flesh tone and was very symmetrical. After working on this project for a while though, I felt it was more important to display a variety in culture and thus reflect a global feel with the spiral composition. -L
